Mark believes that knowledge is the basis for a strong industry, and has mentored some of Singapore’s top bartenders, sommeliers & service professionals who have gone on to win international accolades.
Mark’s burning desire for the industry drove him to establish BARSMITHS, with the aim of revitalizing the knowledge & skills of professionals in Singapore & the region. His efforts have been recognised in his appointment as Wine Consultant & Global Ambassador for Treasury Wine Estates in 2009, as well as Regional ABSOLUT Ambassador in 2010.

A certified member of the prestigious Court of Master Sommeliers, Elias is an accomplished operational specialist who finds motivation in sharing his experiences and in a hands-on approach to management in order to build a more professional and cohesive team.
An individual who is driven by knowledge & performance, Elias believes that a personal desire to succeed is the key contributor to any endeavour.
